Sometimes life gets messy. We are here to help. Many people do not understand hoarding behavior and its complexities. We do. We offer supportive services for clients that struggle with the challenge of compulsive hoarding. Often people who are hoarders have had many little issues snowball and spiral out of control over time. They may be facing eviction, child or adult protective involvement, code enforcement conflicts and the like. Located in Rumford, Maine, we service the local area in Maine and New Hampshire, within an hour and a half driving distance of our office. We work with clients to address their hoarding and to help them dig out from under the mess. Progress is often slow and steady, with occasional setbacks. We are in it for the long term as needed. We want to see our clients succeed over the long term and to not end up in the same situation in the future, therefore we work with our clients long-term to ensure long-lasting success. Services

Free Consultation

We will come to you for a free consultation and discuss with you what your needs are and how we might be able to assist you in your journey toward a more organized life.

Cleaning Assistance

Hoarding is complex. Often if someone comes in and cleans the space, the chronic issues will resurface in time, and the hoarding behavior will reappear. We work with clients together to clean up the mess and to address the reasons behind the hoarding behavior. We challenge and encourage while slowing teaching the client how to maintain a more organized home environment in the future. We work for the long term. While we certainly can help with a fast cleanup, we don’t want to leave our clients without the tools for long-term success, so we try to work with clients over a long-term period of time.

Cleanup Plan Formulation

We work with each person and at their own pace to form a workable plan toward progress and success. We will decide together how often we will meet and for how long, what portions of the work are expected to be done by whom, any concerns, and other variables to make a plan tailored to each individual.

Continued Support

As clients make progress, we will slowly remove services as they are less needed, however we remain available in the future for clients with whom we have had success, should they need additional help in the future.
